HAL is a Polish family company founded in 1991. In 1996, the company began independent manufacturing of toilet blocks, cloths and household use scourers.

In 1994, cooperation was established with one of the first large surface market chains in Poland. This cooperation continues to this day. Meanwhile, several new commercial clients were acquired, including a number of key clients offering Private Label products.


In 1995 the company began wholesale activities in Poland and export to former USSR states. In successive years, foreign market sales expanded to Central and Eastern European countries. In 2000, the company acquired large clients on the Russian market which contributed to the dynamic growth of the company’s turnover. At present export activities represent 30% of the company’s total turnover.


In the years 2005-2006, a production investment was implemented within a program co-financed from EU funds. The project applied to toilet cube manufacturing and its effects are visible to this day.


In 2009, the company’s Kolorado brand was recognized for its quality and usefulness in household work and was awarded the distinction of Laur Konsumenta: Odkrycie 2009 [Consumer Award: Discovery 2009]. Consistently for more than five years now, Hal has been awarded the „Business Gazelle” distinction organized by Puls Biznesu.


In 2010, the company began implementing another investment with the support of EU funds. The purpose of this project consisted of the implementation of new production technology of two-phase blocks. Together with the technology investment, the company also expanded its production buildings and purchased the necessary machines and equipment.
